What it does
Kinode Transcripts fetches the caption track when a video has one and runs speech recognition when it doesn't. Either way, it restores punctuation, capitalization, and paragraphs, so what you get reads like a document instead of a caption dump. Every line keeps its timestamp and links back to that moment in the source.
Once the transcript exists, one click generates a summary, chapter markers, key quotes, a study guide, a quiz, flash cards, highlights, or a translation into 100+ languages. There is also a chat that answers questions using only the transcript and cites timestamps, which turns out to be the fastest way to find what someone said in an hour of video.
Transcripts are cached. A video is fetched and billed once, and any later visit, insight, or API call against it is free and instant. If you work with the same channels repeatedly, this matters a lot for cost.
